starting internet website

I am going to start an internet website business that will be selling my betting picks to the general public,it will cover the kentucky racing circuit and be exotic bets only,I live in,and so my business will originate from, kentucky.I will be doing ALL the work,research,handicapping,posting,design of the site,everything,no employee's,my question is,should I start my business as a sole proprietership or a 1 person LLC?,my other important question is,whether I go with a sole proprietership or a 1 person LLC,it may be as long as 6 months after I form the business structure that the website itself goes up and I begin actually posting and selling my betting picks to the general public,is this time lapse legal and permissible?,could an expert please advise me in this matter?,thank you very much
