Can I buy Hot Wheel cars and modify them for resell to hobby shops.
Legally speaking, what are "replica" cars and models.

There should be no problem. If you buy the item, it is subject to the "first sale doctrine" from my understanding. You have a right to sell that item as modified. You do not have a right to duplicate that item and sell copies with your modifications. Good luck.
