My question involves judgment recovery in the State of:Oregon
Please not this is not for IRS taxes but State Taxes
Hello I am just trying to under stand the rule/Law of ssdi and back account garnishment as it refers to back state taxes
I receive Direct deposit in to my back from SSDI i believe i understand that there is a 60day look back pi rod to see if there were SSDI deposites made and that two month worth of deposits form SSDI are protected.
The confusion I am having is on the account ballance.
example: lets say i get 800 per month X2 month is 1600. I have 900 ballance in the account but not all of it was from SSDI I.E. deposited from other source. but the total balance as of the Garnishment was 900.
Is all of that protected. It is some what confusing.
Does it matter what is in the account as where is cam from or is the rule 2 month worth of SSDI total $$ amount protected no mater how it got there as long as it is below the two months of deposits.
Thanks
