I am an American. My new wife is Ukrainian. We are currently in Ukraine awiating our INS interview and eventually her visa.
My question is this, once we arrive in America, will she be able to venture into Canada? We plan to move to Florida, but during the summer (and hurricanes?) its best to head north.
I will attempt to push for her Legal Permanent Resident status before next summer but it would be nice to know we can leave America without fear.
I read on another post that once she inters America, she will be given a "permanent resident" stamp by the INS on her Ukranian International Passport.
Perhaps this is enough to satisfy the Canadian Immigration officers?
