Hi, My name is Jeff and I am going through a divorce. My soon to be x-wife took our federal income tax "unsigned check" to her lawyer and just handed it to him and he is "holding it". Is it legal for him to keep this check or can I make him give it to me. The check is made out to me first and then my wife. Is there any legal action I can take?
