I work at a hotel front desk and recently found out that our camera now records voice. I think this is an invasion of privacy as employees talk among themselves during downtime---and often about personal matters. Also, sometimes guests will disclose information to a front desk agent (e.g., they are checking in because there has been a domestic dispute, etc.), which means not acknowledging the fact that there is an audio recording device in use is an invasion of their privacy as well. Is it legal for my boss to record my conversations without my consent?
