I have a parent who has sole custody of a first grader and has requested the school to block the stepmother from having access to the child during the day. The step mother picks up the child one day a week and the child spends everyother weekend in the SM's home.
Question? What rights does the person with sole custody have regarding the prevention of step parents invovlement in the school?
I understand that sole custody gives the person the final say in decsions etc..., but can the person comple the school to limit any conversation regarding the child's day, behavior, etc..?
