I bought three arces with a house 16 years ago. At that time there were some covenants in place that related the property to another subdivision adjacent to our property. That other property has a home owners association, an active meeting once a year. We have never been invited to a meting or charged POA fees.

I would like to sell 3/4, +/-, of an acre now.

How long are covenants in place?
How can they be changed if needed?
