Small claim court claiming money

I aim owed money from a client but there is an agent between me (limited company) and the client. My contract is with the agent but it is the client not paying the agent. Am I able to take the client to court for the money owed. This consists of fees and expenses.
The client is witholding money for a period of 2 weeks when it is stated that I was unproductive. The client did not provide a computer or software that was written into the contract. I was never the less at the clients premises doing as much work as I could on my own computer but this lacked specialist software that the client was contracted to supply.
I was also having the software installed with the clients IT department.

That being said, I assume it is the case in the UK, as it is in the US, that anyone can sue anyone for anything. Determining whether you suing the agent's client would have any chance of success would obviously require reviewing the contract and knowing all of the relevant facts.
