I have recently been informed by a neighbor that another neighbor has made statements accusing myself and my husband of manufacturing and selling narcotics. At first I did not give much credance to this rumor however shortly thereafter everyone visiting our home began to be pulled over and searched by the police in our town. Each one told us that the police officer asked them to sign statements that we were manufacturing and selling narcotics ( small town less than 1000 people)My husband was recently pulled over and told by an officer that they know narcotics are being sold and manufactured at our residence . The neighbor who obviously began this viscious rumor is on the city council and has connections in the town. So what can we do about this.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
