I've have been charged with simple possesion of schedule 2 drug I told the officers they were not mine because they weren't. I was charged with the same offense early this year but the charges were dropped because the hydrocodone was in my system and I have a prescription for them how do I fight this charge? Also got charged with P.I. for the 4th time (twice last year and twice this year) can I go to jail over this if so for how long and is there any way to fight it so I won't have to spend time in jail.

Ask you lawyer.
Your lawyer knows more about your case than do strangers on the Internet.

You think that makes a difference? Possession means you HAVE it. You don't need to OWN it.

By hiring a lawyer.

Also got charged with P.I. for the 4th time (twice last year and twice this year)

Didn't learn your lesson the first time, the second time, or the third time.

can I go to jail over this

Probably. I'm guessing that additional offenses carry higher penalties.

if so for how long

Possession with intent can get you 1 to 6 years. With three priors I don't imagine the judge will go easy on you.

Maybe you should have thought about that before you committed the crime.
