Signing Over All Parental Rights

I was kinda wondering if there was a way to sign over all parental rights without having to pay child support. I spoke with legal aid and they said it was not possible. I've heard from other people who have been able to do it. Im just wondering if its possible and what circumstances can it be done in.

First of all, why would you want to do this?

You cannot terminate your rights unless the mother is remarried and the step-father is willing to adopt.

This will only be done if in the childrens best interest, and if there is a subsequent adoption.
