It is extremely rare that a police forwards a crime report to the police AFTER the fact when they first have the person in custody. Unless they later found out you were responsible for numerous prior thefts, you should have nothing to worry about from a criminal prosecution. If they choose to pursue you criminally, the police will almost certainly be in touch for a statement.
