D dee_dub Moderator May 21, 2009 #2 I think you mean "surreply" or "sur-reply". What do you mean, "case law in favour of this"? Whether a party is allowed to file one depends on the rules of civil procedure of your un-named jurisdiction. Whether it is persuasive depends on how good it is.
