My jurisdiction is: New Jersey, Camden County
Hi! My home is in my husband's name (though I am on the deed he is the only one on the loan) and the lender needs written permission to discuss things with me. Well, my husband left and a few days ago I received something taped to the outside of my front door about my house going up for sheriff's sale at the end of THIS month! I've called and asked my husband to please call and ask the lender to postpone the sale and then set up some kind of mortgage modification. Well, he has not called and is not returning my phone calls. I have three children (4 yr. old twins and a 3 yr. old) and cannot lose my home. What can I do??
