Seller has left personal property behind

I am purchasing a home and soon to close. Upon final walkthru of property, I have discovered a garage full of personal property and several pieces of furniture scattered throughout the house. After contacing the seller, she indicates she wants this property but does not know when she will be able to pick it up. Since any pick up of property will be after closing (which the sellers have already signed all paperwork), who is responsible for this property during the time period between closing and whenever pickup might occur? After closing, would this property be considered abandoned?
