18 years ago I moved to Illinois after a one night stand.., she did tell me that I could be the father, but I didn't pursue the issue because she never initiated anything from me. Although I never knew 100% that the kid in question was my son. I questioned it because she had a baby with my cousin not long after, and then she had another child by another man. On the forms when asked if anyone else could be the father she answered YES, and then put a line thru., initialed it and changed her answer to No. A bad choice and decision that I'm answering for.
