Copyright Screen name in Second life

i have an issue with someone else using my screen name that i had for 4 month in a game called Second Life they have only changed their screen name to the exact same screen name as mine 2 weeks ago and i wanted to know how i can make that screen name copyrighted so only i can use the name and no one else can

You can't.

The game actually has ownership of the characters (including names).

This is not a question of copyright at all.

And yes, we need to know your US state

I suggest you complain to Second Life admin that you have acquired a doppelganger.
