After parking my car behind another car on public street, I was accused of scratching the car's rear bumper. I was very close to the other vehicle because of lack of free space but I am sure that I did not touch the other car. The scratch, that the owner of the car is claiming I did, is about 1/4 inch in length and has no depth. I have no damage on my car or there is no sign of any paint on my front bumper from the other car. The owner of the car wants her entire bumper repainted even though she can't prove that my car did the damage.
What is my course of action?
