My car had damage from a previous incident and was parked in a drive overnight. Overnight a car was hit in the street and I am getting the blame for the incident to a neighbours car. There was no cctv or witness to the incident in the street so unable to defend it wasnt me involved. I maybe going to court over this, how as this happened to me. A neighbour took pictures of the damage on my car but as I said it was from a previous incident.

Were the police involved in the investigation of the accident?

Have you contacted your insurance company? Did you by any chance contact your insurance company when the "previous incident" actually happened?
