I am 18 & my girlfriend 16, we are going to runaway to the Domenican Republic to get married without parental consent, which is legal down there, & when we get back we want to live together. U.S. law says to become Emancipated you can be married but with parental consent, but since we are already married can it work? How can I work through this legally?
