Roomate Roommate on lease moves out

In June my husband and I moved in with a friend of ares and got a settlement then moved she has not payed rent since April. My husband I and I have been paying have the rent and we are not on the lease but when she was here we got bed bugs and cockroaches, I told the manager the I would be out on the first if only he would have the apartment sprayed first he said he would now it's about the first an noting do I have any legal rights to stay in the apartment until he spays.

Your post is confusing. Are you living in the apartment? Attempting to leave?

Since you do not have a written lease, you can be considered to have a month to month tenancy (i.e., a month to month lease). In most states (you didn't list your state), such leases can be terminated with a 30 day written notice.

Well...you did sign a letter saying you'd be out by the first. In a court it would certainly appear that you agreed to do this.
