Here is the situation:
Roommate and my boyfriend signed a 9 month lease in January, it was up in September. Boyfriend and I signed a new lease with just us on it and roommates name does not appear at all. Roommate informed management and us that he would be out when lease was up. He was there when we signed the new lease and specifically did not sign on as an occupant because he was "leaving". Ok, then he said he would be out October 1st, still here. Then it was October 15th, still here. He is still here, Nov. 2. We have not received rent from him. The landlord says that they can't evict him. He has squatter's rights because he was here before we signed the new lease. What can we do to make him leave? Help, please.
