Hi,

My home was recently burglarized and I've been having a terrible time with the insurance company. I have a high coverage for theft, damage items etc. I've requested a written letter from the insurance adjuster for the past three (3) months and he continues to ignore me. He says he'll call me back with the needed information regarding my claim. But, he never does. The private investigator wanted me to sign a letter giving him and his investigation firm complete access to my personal information. Of course, I didn't sign his form.
The investigator contradicted everything the insurance adjuster stated to me in writing. (adjuster) photographs, manuals, receipts are proof of ownership. (investigator) photographs without receipts, manuals without receipts, and receipts without photographs are not proof of evidence of ownership. I provided receipts, manuals and photographs of the stolen items.
I would like to know if I have a case against the insurance company?
Please let me know as soon as possible.
Thank You,
Phil Stevens.
