Hi, I will be turning 18 in 49 days and i was wondering if i move out and leave can my parents do anything to stop me? I am moving in with a friend that lives in another state. I want to know if there is any law city, state, ir federal that can stop me from doing this once i am 18?

As an adult, you can do what you wish. Your parents may not let you take anything with you, and they will be under no obligation to provide you with any support, but you are free to leave at 18 absent a conservatorship or other court order that limits your travel or changing residences.

You can at 18 live anywhere you wish minus the "possible" exceptions noted above.
