My husband, before he was my husband was convicted of 2nd degree arson. He was ordered to pay $69,000 restitution. This week the judge ordered him to pay $300.00 per WEEK towards his restitution. If he misses one payment he will be sent to prison. The problem is that we have between the two of us five children to take care of, a mortgage, and the usual bills. Sometimes we really struggle, well most of the time we struggle. When the judge ordered him to pay that much every week it was like a disaster had hit our lives. Is there any way to get that payment redused. If so where do I start. There is no way that our family will survive either way, if he goes to prison I cannot support everybody and if we have to pay that huge payment we will be homeless. Please help.
