Yes, if the "repo man" comes at 2:30 AM and by stealth takes the car, you have no case.

If you were there at 2:30 AM and told him "no trespassing, repo man", he'll just call the cops, show them his paperwork, and take the lender's car.

The only way to thwart the "repo man" (legally), is to lock the car in a secure garage.

The best thing to do is give the "repo man" the car.

He won't get paid until he snatches the car, and the "repo man" always gets paid!!!!

If you file bankruptcy, that will delay the inevitable, but the car will eventually go back to the lender.

So, pay the lender, or be prepared to deal with the "repo man".
