I have a month to month lease, which started with the expiration of my year lease. I signed a renewal agreement, and it states: The original Lease Agreement is hereby renewed and extended for an additional term of 'Month to Month' beginning on July 1, 2005 and termination 'upon a 30 day written notice.'
Now, after a year, my landlord is asking me to sign a new 1 year lease, or agree to new month to month terms. Can he/she do this?
