Jail Remanding Order Booking

I seem to be striking out on getting responses. This may seem like a stupid question, but I don't have much experience with the law.

My son is in Theo Lacy on a Remanding Order Booking. That's all I was able to find online. Can anyone tell me what this is?

What state is this? How was he arrested? What statue has he been arrested for violating?

I suspect it means that he went to court for some reason and was remanded to custody (in other words, his freedom was yanked and he was sent to jail).

Yep - it's a jail facility in Orange County. His son is IN Theo Lacy.

Now that I know that ... it sounds as if he went to court and was remanded to the custody of the sheriff.
