Release Agreement
What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ca

In a release agreement involving the insurance carrier that insured the owner's property, the owner whose property was damaged and 3rd party who caused the damage to the owner's property.

Below are the questions:

1. Is there such a thing that requires the signor of the release to be limited to the policy holder of the homeowners insurance?
2. Is it possible to get the release from the co-owner of the unit who is not necessarily the policy holder of the homeowner's insurance?
3. Is it also possible to get the release signed by the tenant who occupies the unit by renting the unit from the owner?
4. In order for the release agreement to be valid, does it have to be signed by all the parties on a hard copy? Can one of the signor submit just the printout of only the signed page from an e-mail attachment?

1. Yes.
2. No need to do that.
3. No need to do that either.
4. Always have the original with all original signatures, better to get it notarized as well.
