This morning I was rear ended. The car behind me hit me twice. Once because she didn't stop or slow down and twice because the car behind her in turn hit her. At the second impact, I then hit the car in front of me. Could I be liable for rear ending the car in front of me? I had plenty of space in between me and the car in front, but by the second impact where else could I go???

Thanks.

Were you moving or sitting still at the time of the second wreck?
