If you consign for someone in a rental lease for a year and the person resigned up for another year. Would the consigned carry forward with the new lease or have to sign a new cosign agreement?

If you co-signed for a one year term on a lease with X and the lease ends. X signs another lease, and you do not sign that lease. You're off the hook, and should stay that way.

Never co-sign for anyone.
