Ok, ex has continually harrassed me over phone. I finally have it where we only e-mail. He sent me an e-mail basically stating that I'm using the e-mails as a tool to control him. I want to reply but I don't want a fight or be mean just want to simply state that my comments were directed at alleviating our childs' pain due to growth spurts. I asked him to give our 2yr. old a nap and rub her legs before she went to bed. That's it. Not demanding or rude just nicely asked. My last lawyer said that when he finally threatens me on e-mail then I can get him in court to get him to stop. I just don't want problems on my end. How can I word my responce without trouble?

Also, my children come home from their fathers' smelling of cigarette smoke and pet urine all the time. My 2 yr. old has allergies and is sick for 2 days after the visits. He blames me for her always being sick. It's just allergies and its on record at the doctors office. What can I do if anything to get the atmosphere around the girls changed? Thanks for any help.

If the child is allergic to animals and the father refuses to get rid of his pets and if the child is allergic to smoke, this is something you are going to have to take up in court. This could be some sort of medical neglect. I recommend you talk to an attorney to see what can be done.

im trying to see if i can get the childsupport owed to me that my childs father did not pay for the first seven years the court that i filed says that i have to file in the state of the father but the state that he is in says that i have to file here in tenn. where i originally filed now ga. says the case is closed because the father has the child now but in the court order it states that the arrears will be addressed at a later date i would like to know how, to go about addressing this matter and to which court system should i continue with thank you

The 2yr. old has allergies but they are questionable. We don't know exactly what she is allergic to. All I know for sure is she constantly has a runny nose and has problems breathing when she comes home. She does have a nebulizer which I keep at my home because he does NOT send things back to me. I did get some liquid albuteral from the doc to give to her if needed but he won't give her anything.

Both kids come home with scratches up and down their body because of the animals. He says it's because they won't leave the dog alone. I think at 2 and 5 if they won't stay away put the pet up somewhere. However, when all this was brought up I was told that my 5 yr. old has to tell someone else other than her family what is really going on. She tells us that her dad beats the 2 yr. old if she goes potty in her pants. Our divorce papers state no corpril punishment. I put that in cause I myself was hit by him. I can't afford to go back to court right now. Just need to know what I can do to prepare for when I can. Thanks.

Have you considered counseling? The 2 year old may be too young, but the 5 year old isn't. The counselor can document everything as a third party if your daughter is seen regularly.

Well in order to dictate dad's smoking habits and animals, you have to have proof that Dad's house is the cause. Sounds like you need to talk to an attoreny big time. Are there any marks on the 2 yr old child from spankings? A beating is different from a spanking. Even so, a 2 yr old is not going to be fully potty trained. You really need to see an attorney and being these issues up. The 2 yr old belongs in pullups or diapers since if she is not potty trained. Most 2 yr olds aren't.

Duranie, thanks but have you personally ever potty trained a 2yr old. I've done it 4 times. Yes 2yr olds have accidents but she is ready for panties. Pull ups are for night time when she has no control. Yes there have been marks but no hand prints. Most of the marks on my 5yr old (she says) comes from the 10yr boy and 13yr old boy. I don't believe it. Therapy is just so expensive, and with the gas prices on the rise I can't really afford it. Lawyer said that I'd eithor have to get her in to therapy and see IF she talks, or wait till there is a mark like a thumbprint or handprint and take her directly to the hospital to get documentation.

Yes I have potty trained by daughter is 3 1/2 and I am 34 weeks pregnant now. My daughter was fully potty trained at 3, sheis in pull ups at night.

I didn't mean to question your parenting skills. I was trying tto say spanking a 2 yr old because of an accident is not appropriate, even if it is not a beating. 2 yr old is still young.

I do not have much advice for you but to see an attorney, call around to see if anyone can help pro bono to address the allergy issues.
