I have some tenents that are nice people that have gotten behind in their rent. They recently had moved from California to Oregon and as a result are low in funds. The tenants are a couple, (he's 70+ and she's 50+). His source of income is SSI and she is currently looking for employment. Not wanting to put them out in the streets, I've suggested to see if they qualify for section 8 housing. I would like to keep them as tenants if at all possible, but NOT at my expense~
They own their vehicle outright and I was wondering if it is at possible to be a lienholder on the title of their vehicle. One tricky part....the vehicle is still registered in the state of California, and as mentioned prior....They currently rent from me in Oregon. If it is possible to be a lienholder, where should I obtain the appropriate forms. Thank you in advance for your assistance~
