While married, I had a child by another man. My husband at the time is on her birth certificate as her father. However, when we divorced, the paternity test was a part of the divorce, and the divorce decree states that she is not his biological child due to the results of the DNA testing and he has no legal rights or obligations to her. Therefore giving up all rights to her as she is not his child. The biological father has nothing to do with her and I don't even know where he is anymore. I'm getting ready to get married, and my fiance would like to adopt her as his once we are. What all steps do I need to do in order to make this happen?
