about 8mths ago my children where removed by CPS due to domestic violence between me and my husband. I was granted an improvement period for a period of 6mths. I have seen my children once a week under supervision for about 2hrs. My improvement period is up in 2 wks and I have completely complied with everything they wanted me to do. I need an opinion on whether or not they will let my children come home, is there a law on extending the improvement period for longer? please give opinion on what you think will happen.

Are you still married? Is your husband their father?

Hello

Yes We Are Still Married And He Is The Father, We Have Been Taking Marriage Counseling This Whole Time And Individual Counseling We Have Done Everything They Have Asked Of Us. Last Thursday We Had An Mdt Meeting And The Cps Worker Told Us She Is Going To Push For A Three Month Extension On Our Improvement Period, Mind You We Have Completed Everything Already, She Says She Wants To Extend It Because Our New Baby Is Due To Be Born Dec.27 And She Feels As Though Domestic Violence Occurs Between Us After The Birth Of The Baby. I'm Not Sure If This Is Legal To Base Her Opinion On The Past Because We Have'nt Had Any Disputes This Whole Time And Our Youngest Son Was 5 Months When We Had Our Domestic . Logically It Doesn't Seem Right To Me Because By The Time The Baby I'm Carrying Is Born The Children Will Be Home In 2 Months. So If She's Basing It On The Past Wouldn't It Be Strange To Hold My Children Out Of The Home On The Basis Of Her Illogical Explanations?
