Someone I was seeing and I got into an argument. He gave me his phone and I saw her was messaging someone else and I sent her a text. He became irate and shoved me and went to strike me and hit my arm I raised in defense. I am now having anxiety and ptsd from the event. The doctor prescribed anxiety and sleep medication. I ran from my apartment in a panic. When I managed to get outside and into my car he came after me and ended up breaking my door handle trying to get in my truck. Do I have a chance at winning a suit for my broken door handle and for emotional distress?
