As for your problem, I take it that this is somebody you were not married to and both your names are on the title. If yes, read the following: Selling house&car that is jointly owned It'll show you what you are up against. It's just one of many sob stories from somebody foolish enough to get financially involved with boyfriend/girlfriend.
