Prayer for Judgement?

I recently recieved a ticket for going 89 in a 60 on I 85. This is my second ticket this year. My first ticket was 10 over and I simply paid the fine. I also recieved another ticket for going 10 over about 15 months ago. I have heard of this prayer for judgement option and would like to find out more. It sounds pretty good to me and I am leaning in this direction as I do not want to pay a huge fine and have my insurance shoot through the roof. I would also like to avoid legal fees if posible. Should I use this option and if so what will happen? If not, what do you recommend?
