Two and on-half years ago, spouse abandoned family and house leaving large debts, while I was recouperating from a total knee replacement. I had only been out of the hospital for three days. He was told to take everything he wanted and to take all that was his. Divorce was finalized app. two weeks ago. I just received a letter from a paralegal stating he wanted a list of items left in the house. Can he do that after this amount of time? The house doesn't even belong to me. Mother had to buy it because of foreclosure due to bills not being paid.
