Post Divorce Property

My divorce was final [in Colorado] August 2007. In the Financial Affidavit/Settlement Agreement we listed our home {purchased jointly} as 50/50 responsibility until it sells. We verbally agreed to live in the home until it was sold. The property has been on the market since May 2007 and we have not yet been able to get a contract to sell it. I can no longer tolerate living in the home with my ex-husband. I want to move out soon and rent an apartment, which means I will no longer be able to contribute the 50% of the responsibility. What will happen if I move out and stop making payments? Can my ex enforce the Settlement Agreement? I am meeting with a bankruptcy attorney next week to discuss options, but would like some information from Divorce law perspective.
