Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse please help. cocain charge

last night my buddy got arrested for possesion and i had a baggy with residue.. nothing really just dust the cop let me go and said i have till today at 12 to call the drug task force and nark on him..

if they let me go can they re arrest me?

Even the dust in the bag was enough for an arrest.

I wouldn't cooperate with them either. If they need more info on your buddy let them get it themselves. If they want to come back and arrest you they will have to either get a warrant or you will have to engage in a new crime. Don't let them hassle you. Avoid all contact with them.... and stop using drugs.
