After selling my GM car dealership 5 years ago, (C-Corp; I owned 50%, two other partners, both MD's, owned 25% each), my two partners owe me over $600,000. They intitiated a law suit aginst me and my lawyer counter sued on the grounds that they pierced the corporate veil when, at the closing of the sale of the busness, they demanded that part of the proceeds be used to pay off a personal loan that the three of us got to use as working capital. The judge didn't rule, so my lawyer appealed with no success. I think he should just have sued for the money, but he chose to use the piercing the corporate veil. What do I do now? It seems my lawyer has lost interest.
