Are there any laws in regards to buying a dog from a private party? Do they have to provide us with any personal information? All i have obtained is there phone number and they are very unwilling to provide additional information, we even have to meet in the park. I believe they are niether a breeder or dog dealer. How can i protect myself should something go wrong, and what can I do to ensure proper documentation (cash payment is wanted as well).
Usually I would not consider business with people of this matter, but we have been searching for this breed and finally found the perfect match.
