I'm in AZ and was wondering what I should do if my employer won't let me access my personnel file. I want to check the accuracy of the statements written and I highly suspect that these statements are inaccurate. Some may even be bold lies.
Can I copy this information? Can I write down the details that I am reading? How long do I have to write down the details?
Are they allowed to keep me from seeing my file?

Can I copy this information? If the employer gives you permission, yes. If the employer does not give you permission, no.

Can I write down the details that I am reading? If the employer gives you permission, yes. If the employer does not give you permission, no.

How long do I have to write down the details? As much or as little time as the employer permits.

Are they allowed to keep me from seeing my file? Yes.
