Hello! I'm not sure if I am posting this in the correct section. I received a letter today from the finance company for my husband's vehicle stating that some of his personal information was released to other customers. Some of the information includes our address, phone numbers, full name, part of our banking information, and account activity. They offered to give his a free year of credit monitoring to ensure there isn't any identity theft. My question is, should I just leave it at that? I'm not happy that we have to worry about his information being in the wrong hands and have to worry about identity theft because of the company's error.

This happens all too often today.
It has happened to.
I chose to ignore.
You have the freedom to choose.
Choose wisely.
Credit monitoring is not as protective as it claims.
