What is the Pennsylvania statute that governs that a person entered into a promissory note must fulfill the financial obligations of the note?

The terms of the note state that the person is obligated to pay.

Yes, I completely understand that the obligee has to pay; however, I need to state the statute in my filing document.

Wouldn't promisary notes fall under general contract law? I would think so, unless there's something written specifically to it.

I couldn't tell you what Pennsylvania does, but promissory note law falls under negotiable instruments.
