I am paid salary based on 5 days per week. The pay week has started on Thursday and ended on Wednesday since I started. I work Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to a change in outsourcing of payroll. At the end of this year it was nessacary to change when the pay week starts and stops. The new pay week runs from Wednesday to Tuesday. The last day of the old pay week was a Wednesday and the first day of the new pay week was a Thursday The first week of the new pay week I was only paid for 4 days because I was told I only worked 4 days in the new pay week. Thursday,Friday,Saturday and Tuesday. Witch was only a 6 day period. The next week was normal pay. Has anyone heard of this? And is this legal? I lost a day and feel I was cheated out of a days pay. Hourly employees were affected also and anyone with overtime that shortened week.
