parking tix

I got a parking tix for being parked odd side with alternate parking even/odd days despite no visible signs. Its only $25 including surcharge. Can i get out of it? What happens if I dont pay it? Thanks

If you don't pay it, you could get a boot on your car and then you would not be able to drive it until you paid a lot more than $25.
