Last night my vehicle was hit by a drunk driver while legally parked in the street. It is an older vehicle that only is worth around 500 dollars actual cash value, however the vehicle ran perfectly and was very well taken car of so it was worth much more to us. It has been considered totalled, and I am afraid that the insurance company will want to offer us a low amount of money for it. We cannot afford to put money into a new vehicle at this time because I am in college. This vehicle was intended to get us through until I got out of school.
